Edo State Government

We are Advisors to the Edo State Government on Health. We partnered with EDSG to develop their EdoHIP (Edo Health Improvement Programme) initiative. This scope of this initiaitive includes:

  • 1. Setting up the Edo State Primary Healthcare Agency to drive the redesign/rehabilitation and delivery of functional Primary Health Care Facilities across the state.
  • 2. Strengthening and extending Secondary Health Care Service Provision by repositioning the specialty care and deploying required resources to rehabilitate and operationalize selected Hospitals in the Capital including Edo Specialist Hospital and Stella Obasanjo Hospital.
  • 3. Setting up of a sustainable Health Finance System by assisting the creation of Edo State Health Insurance Commission to research, design and navigate the most effective way to deploy state-wide Health Insurance for Edo State residents
  • 4. Capacity Building of Healthcare workers for continuous strengthening of the Health Ecosystem. Edo State School of Nursing was a significant achievement towards establishing a strong foundation for learning within the Healthcare sector in the state. After 7 years, the school was renovated and accredited in 2021.
  • 5. Design and implementation of an effective state-wide response to COVID-19 by galvanizing resources and support within and outside of Edo State. Edo State was recognized for its' efforts in curbing the spread of COVID-19 thereby protecting its residents from being significantly hit by the pandemic.

Sudabelt Medical

Lauren Parker provided consulting services to Sudabelt Medical Co, a Medical Equipment and Consumables Supply Company with Operations in Lagos, Abuja and Kano. Sudabelt experienced accelerated growth in their first 2 years of business operations and requested to implement a means to support their growth in a structured and sustainable manner.
Within 3 months of supporting the business, the following results were achieved:

  • 1. Employee satisfaction rating improved from 46% to 71%
  • 2. New customer acquisition increased to 8% more than previous Quarters
  • 3. Service Delivery Turn-around time to customers reduced by approximately 72 hours
  • 4. Delays in supplier payments was reduced by 40%
  • 5. Newly acquired skills and competence required for the business were improved by up to 37%

Quality Food Africa - Scoop'd Ice Creams

The Management of Quality Foods Africa appreciate that as their business attains maturity, resource and process efficiency become increasingly critical to sustaining profitability. The Lauren Parker team was engaged to review, optimize and document Scoop’d (a F&B subsidiary focused on ice cream and sweet treats) processes and operating procedures to improve the general standards of running the business and lay a foundation for improvements to be identified and implemented to further increase its business operations and achieve positive and repeatable results. The project output which included documented processes, templates, procedures, standardized recipes, marketing support documents and training has assisted the business to re-invent itself while maintaining the systems and structure that supports its business relevance in the fast food market.

Famacare Limited

Lauren Parker provides advisory services to Famacare, a HEFAMAA accredited health facility operating as a chain of integrated clinics focusing on providing Primary Healthcare Services to communities in low to middle income settings with a vision to be the preferred service provider in the communities we service. Our pioneer operating clinic is in Egbeda, Akonwonjo LCDA which currently provides services to approximately Three Thousand residents (about 20% of the serviceable market in that area) since our inception in April 2019.
